Dr. Maren Sonstegard-Spray

Raised in the Washington D.C. metro area, Maren graduated from Duke University with a degree in biology but soon decided that medical research was not her calling. She pursued a Master of Divinity degree at Princeton Seminary. Ordained in 2006, Maren later earned her Doctor of Ministry from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
Will Nickles

Will Nickles is a South Carolina native—specifically a flatlander from Hartsville, which means he prefers rice over potatoes! He graduated from Clemson University in 1986 with a degree in Architecture, but in 1995 answered a call to ministry and earned his Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in 1998. He was ordained that year and served as pastor of Belton Presbyterian Church until 2003.
Since then, Will has served Foothills Presbytery as a minister-at-large in various roles, including session moderator and stated supply pastor. He currently chairs the Examinations Commission and serves on the Committee on Preparation for Ministry.
Will recently retired from the Montessori School of Anderson, where he taught grades 4–6 and high school Geometry for 13 years. He now spends more time on design work and woodworking.
He is married to Mary Nickles, Director of Anderson Senior Follies. They have two daughters, Blake and Callie, who both live in Virginia, and a new grandson, Owen.
